Tidal Transit has announced that it is taking delivery of Umoe’s second Wavecraft equipped with Checkmate Flexible Engineering skirts.
Tom Roach, CFE’s Managing Director commented: “We are delighted to learn that Tidal Transit will be operating Umoe’s second of series Ventus Class with our skirts.”
“We’ve had excellent reports of the first craft’s performance.There is certainly a role for these versatile craft in wind turbine maintenance where speed and sea keeping have a big influence on cost effectiveness because technicians can spend more hours on task.”
