Ushpal Thind joined Checkmate Flexible Engineering in 2008 as project engineer. Since then, he has gained valuable experience in flexible product design and manufacture and has played a pivotal role in driving the flexible engineering team forward. Ushpal’s promotion to industrial products manager is a reflection of the success of the peristaltic hose business. Thanks to his hard work and determination, Checkmate now supply 30% of the North American market with sales tripling since 2008. But it doesn’t end there. Ushpal also brings his extensive skill set to the Anaconda team and works on all aspects of design, manufacture and testing of the project.
