New inflatable hatch seal for hatch covers

Checkmate Flexible Engineering has developed the new inflatable hatch seal for hatch covers, ’tween decks and dividers for use when bulk cargo contamination or loss has to be prevented.

The flexible, abrasion resistant tube is made from reinforced Nitrile/ PVC rubber which is highly resistant to water, ozone, sun and oil exposure. It also provides good air holding at high pressures.

  • Rubber valve permits insertion into narrow gaps
  • Working = 15 psig / 1.0 bar
  • Maximum = 150 psig / 10.0 bar
