Checkmate Flexible Engineering has developed a range of waterproof equipment bags used with the British Army’s new MAN wheeled recovery vehicle. The new vehicle is capable of retrieving the heaviest wheeled vehicles in service. Such heavy vehicles were required to support the Mastiff heavy protected wheeled vehicle, the medium protected combat vehicle and others like the heavy equipment transporter and fuel tanker deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan in recent years.
